Father’s Day: Celebrating and remembering

By Joanna Kats

Today, we are celebrating Father’s Day (in Europe), a significant role in the development of a child and the way they enter the world of adults.

Let us remember to send wishes to those who are or plan to be fathers. With all our respect, we are thinking of those who lost their father or their child. With the same respect, those who have decided not to assume that role.

It’s been 20+ years since my father passed away. I have lived most of my life without than with my father. As a child, I felt sad for what I wouldn’t experience as a daughter. While growing up, for what he wouldn’t experience as a father. While maturing, I learned to appreciate what life brings my way.
